Finding Inspiration for every summit

The following treks I have done over the years are by chance and opportunities. I prefer to find treks that are more remote and less touristy. South America region is my top choice. Lots of high mountains and you can get great support.

Huayna Potosí

Huayna Potosí (6,088m) is the closest high mountain to La Paz. Surrounded by high mountains, it is roughly 15 miles due north of the city, which makes this mountain the most popular climb in Bolivia.

Illimani

llimani (6,438m) is the highest mountain in the Cordillera Real, a subrange of the Andes) of western Bolivia. It is the second highest peak in Bolivia, after Nevado Sajama.

Sajama

Nevado Sajama is an extinct volcano and the highest peak in Bolivia. The mountain is located in Sajama Province, in Oruro Department. It is situated in Sajama National Park.

Mera Peak

Mera Peak is a mountain in the Mahalangur section, Barun sub-section of the Himalaya and administratively in Nepal's Sagarmatha ZoneSankhuwasabha. At 6,476 metres. 

Snowman.HEIC

Snowman Trek II

The Snowman Trek II is the longest hiking trail of Bhutan (370km) that extends from Laya to the high Bhutanese Himalayas, covering up the northern part of the Kingdom. It was created by the yak herders of the country. We went through 14 passes. Highest point ~ 5,500m.

Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano located in Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world.

Island Peak

Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, is a mountain in Sagarmatha National Park in the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. The peak was named Island Peak in 1953 by members of the British Mount Everestexpedition because it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. 6,165m.

Nevado Chani

Nevado de Chañi is a mountain in the Andes of the Jujuy Province in Argentina. It has a height of 5,949 metres. It lies at about 50 km northwest of San Salvador de Jujuy.
