I recall helping a client who has gain weight steadily 1kg a year since she was 30 years old. Often, your friends will say "1 kg a year" is fine. However, she is now 18 kg heavier than she used to weigh. If you carry a 18kg bag, are you able to run with it? You can, but you know your back and knees will hurt. Exercise can only help so much, 70% will depend on what you eat. I'm not saying we should diet. I don't believe in diet nor eating small amount. Eat hearthily but be mindful of what you eat.
